International Omega-3 Learning and Education Consortium for Health and Medicine

The DHA/EPA Omega-3 Institute was founded to provide evidence-based educational information for health professionals and the general public about the omega-3 fatty acids, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid ) plus EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), in relation to human health. The Institute is located within the University of Guelph Research Park and Dr. Bruce Holub, Scientific Director and University Professor Emeritus, provides the written materials and lectures.

Based in Australia and New Zealand, the Omega-3 Centre is striving toward being the leading authority for information on Omega-3s and their nutritional benefits. Through this centre, they are committed to advancing the health status of the people of Australia and New Zealand.

Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM) is a specialty group of dietetics professionals that promotes the integration of conventional nutrition practices with evidence-based alternatives through education, research and practice. DIFM bridges conventional and emerging nutrition choices.

ISSFAL is an International Scientific Society established in 1991, of more than 500 members from more than 40 countries.
